Troop 113

Salem Lutheran Church - Tomball Texas  77377

Scouting Since 1937

Organization

Troop 113 offers a year-round adventure-based program designed to offer and encourage effective character, citizenship, and fitness training for boys age 11-17. In addition to serving the community, Scouts and adult leaders enjoy activities such as camping, rock-climbing and rappelling, canoeing, target-shooting, visits to military bases and much more fun!

Scouting Events

Weekly meetings are held Monday nights from 7-8pm at the Salem Lutheran Church Scout House. Our most recent summers have taken us white-water rafting, mountain climbing, hiking and fishing in Colorado, Alabama, and Tennessee. Every year we try to squeeze in caving, biking, hiking, canoeing, rock climbing, wilderness survival camping, outdoor cooking, rifle and shotgun shooting events, and orienteering.

Troop History

Troop 113 was founded in 1937 and is chartered by Salem Lutheran Church. Meetings are held in Salem's historic one-room school building which now serves as the Scout House where scouts learn valuable life skills.
